I conduct 3 community choirs, Bella Bago choir, Out of the Shower choir and A Slice of Wednesday. Bella Bago and Out of the Shower choirs are non-auditioned choirs, open to anyone with a love of song and a willingness to learn about harmony singing.
I regularly invite some of the best a-cappella choral conductors from around the world to conduct singing workshops in our community and I organise overseas singing holidays.
I also coordinate the Hastings Farmers’ Market, creating a place for the local farmers to sell their produce to their own community. Some of the best produce and value-added product in the world is grown or hand-made right here in the Hastings. The HFM is held at the Wauchope Showground on the 4th Saturday of each month. Sometimes my choirs perform at the market.
I started my singing career in the early 80s and am now a much loved and seasoned performer of many musical styles ranging from Eastern European Folk to Rock & Roll, Blues, Gospel and Jazz. I perform regularly as a vocalist with Jazz ensembles and duos.
