Morgan & Meg. is a specialty food and beverage business located in Port Macquarie, NSW. We make our own cakes, biscuits and slices, and sell hand-blended artisan teas and epicurean retail products. It is our goal to showcase local produce and become a champion of small, locally made products from the beautiful Mid-North Coast of New South Wales. We want to create authentic, enjoyable food experiences and meaningful connections with the close-knit community in which we live, and will strive to provide a friendly and welcoming meeting place for our customers. Morgan & Meg was born out of a passion for creating and sharing simple, delicious food; we think there is nothing better in life than sharing good food with good people. We are all about Good Food, Good Moods and Good Times!

Personal BioSince I was a really young age I have had a passion for everything relating to food. I loved to watch my mum in the kitchen, creating amazing dishes from her dog-eared and highly precious family recipe books. I grew up in a household where every cake was homemade, and biscuits rarely came from a package. When I was in my final years of high school, I studied commercial cookery and absolutely loved it. For a long time I was set on the idea of becoming a chef, as I dearly loved to cook. I studied Hospitality Management at the International College of Tourism and Hotel Management in Sydney, and after working extensively in event management, had the opportunity to work in marketing and communications. I have continued to work as a marketing professional in the hospitality industry as well as in local government and have had the opportunity to work on the creation, development and implementation of many marketing communications projects. I ran a market stall 'Morgan & Meg' in Townsville North Queensland, selling traditional-style baked goods, pickles and preserves and now after making the move to Port Macquarie, I plan to re-launch Morgan & Meg very soon. In the meantime I will be spending my weeknights and weekends recipe testing and sharing my creations on my personal blog.
