2019 International Women's Day Hastings Heroines Breakfast

The 8th Annual celebration for International Women's Day and the Hastings Heroines ceremony will take place on Friday March 8th 2019 at Panthers Port Macquarie.

Hosted by the Hastings Business Women's Network and Member for Port Macquarie Leslie Williams - this premier breakfast event is a celebration for all within the community. 

The event is a fundraiser for Liberty Domestic and Family Violence Specialist Services (Women's Refuge).

Guests will hear from special guest speaker Lisa McAdams, who has survived domestic violence while succeeding in her corporate career. Lisa will share her unique perspective on the complexities of domestic violence and the needs of businesses, drawing on her corporate background and personal experience of living within a domestic violence marriage.

Hastings Heroine

The Hastings Heroines awards recognise the efforts of women in the local region. The 2019 awards will celebrate women celebrate women who have achieved better gender balance by challenging bias and supporting women's advancement, in line with international theme of #BalanceforBetter

The 2019 Hastings Heroines nominees and winners will be recognised at the International Women's Day Breakfast on 8 March.

Award nominations closed on Friday 15 February.
