A Global Celebration of Women
International Women’s Day (IWD), celebrated annually on 8 March, is a global day recognising the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women while calling for accelerated gender equality. With origins dating back more than a century, the first International Women’s Day gathering was held in 1911, attracting the support of more than one million people. Today, IWD is a worldwide movement that unites individuals, businesses and communities to inspire change, champion equality, and create a more inclusive future for all.
For almost two decades, HBWN has proudly celebrated International Women’s Day through one of the region’s most anticipated and inspiring annual events. Welcoming more than 200 guests each year, the event brings together professionals, business owners, and community leaders.
