Inspiring Guest Speaker

FLTLT Kirsty Cross

Kirsty is one of only a few female pilots in the Royal Australian Air Force. She is currently serving as a Captain of the E7 Airborne Early Warning and Control aircraft.

As Captain of the E7, Kirsty is responsible for the execution of the mission and the safe return of what is a billion dollar aircraft and its crew of specialist operators.

Her service has included time as an Air Force VIP pilot for Canberra's parliamentarians, visiting dignitaries and the Governor General.

Kirsty has 15 years service with the Australian Defence Force, including service with the Australian Army and graduation from the prestigious Royal Military College - Duntroon.

Through her experiences, Kirsty has found a passion for the advocacy and advancement of the status of women in her community.

More than $3000 worth of prizes are up for grabs! All proceeds from the event will go toward the Port Macquarie Hastings Domestic & Family Violence Specialist Service, which provides crisis accommodation and support to women and children escaping domestic violence or in crisis.
