2022 Women's Wellness Event
Our Women’s Wellness event on April 28 was a truly special evening with Rebel Tucker guiding us through an interactive wellness workshop and Kayley Riddle explaining the Science of Wellbeing.
Most of us live busy but fairly sedentary lives, spending 7 hours or more mind the computer screen and countless more on our phones, driving, or watching TV. No judgement here. We all know that this isn’t the healthiest but what can we do to improve things? Rebel showed us how to breathe better, how to move our bodies to re-energise, and techniques to improve our mental wellbeing, all from the comfort of your office.
Rebel Tucker, known as YogiReb, is a Naturopath and Yoga Therapist with 30 years’ experience. She runs a yoga, meditation, and naturopathy centre in Bonny Hills called Yoga Rebel and has recently opened a health store in Lake Cathie called Whole Health Store selling local produce, quality supplements, skin care, and eco products.
After being re-energised by Rebel’s workshop, Kayley Riddle from People Engine chatted to us about the Science of Wellbeing. Sharing her personal stories about the dangers of stress and importance of mental, physical, social, and environmental wellbeing. The Science of wellbeing teaches individuals and organisations how to balance these four aspects in your life by implementing small but meaningful changes. By becoming more balanced, happier, and healthier individuals we can start to see changes in our productivity and performance.
People Engine specialises in executive and leadership coaching, emotional intelligence, DISC, and business development.
