Personal Bio

Photomedia Artist | Photographer | Creative Entrepreneur Owner, Reimagined Images | Co-owner, Sunset Framing & Gallery I’m Cherie — a photographer, photomedia artist, and creative workshop facilitator based in Port Macquarie. With over 30 years behind the camera, I blend emotional storytelling with visual impact, creating work that feels as real as it looks. Through my business, Reimagined Images, I offer content photography for fellow business owners, surrealist collage prints, and expressive fine art that invites connection. I also co-own Sunset Framing & Gallery, where I help others present their creative work with care and impact. My work is grounded in lived experience — I’m a survivor of domestic and childhood abuse, and these chapters of my story fuel my belief in creative expression as a powerful tool for voice, healing, and connection. I love working with small business owners, especially those in accommodation, wellness, and lifestyle industries, who value intentional imagery and authentic storytelling. I’m also addicted to craft and love to share this with others, current craft obsession is contemporary collage with a surrealist twist. When I’m not in the studio, gallery or behind the lens, you’ll likely find me hanging out with family, or baking something I won’t eat. I'm a country girl at heart, a mum to five (blended), and someone who believes that connection is at the heart of all strong communities, that good wine, good light, and good people can make all the difference to a day.
