Personal Bio

I am the Co‑Owner and Director of Support Services For You, a rapidly growing disability and community services organisation based on the Mid North Coast. I have been in co‑ownership for 18 months and have played a key role in leading the organisation through a period of significant growth while maintaining a strong focus on trauma‑aware care, workforce wellbeing, and high‑quality, person‑centred support. During this time, I have helped expand our workforce to more than 65 employees and contractors, strengthen internal systems, diversify service offerings, and build a strong employer and community reputation. We are proud to hold a 4.8‑star Google rating and 100% Facebook recommendations, and to have been recognised as a finalist in local Business Awards, including Employer of Choice. My leadership approach centres people first — recognising the emotional labour involved in disability and community services and designing work in a way that prioritises psychological safety, flexibility, and sustainability. I am passionate about building systems that support both accountability and wellbeing, and about creating genuine development pathways that align with individual strengths, life stages, and goals. Before entering private business ownership, I worked with the NSW Department of Communities and Justice as a Services and Programs Officer, Project Officer, and later as a Senior Communications Officer. This background provided a strong foundation in program delivery, stakeholder engagement, systems thinking, and strategic communication, which continues to inform my leadership style today. I am deeply committed to community connection and collaboration. I actively engage with local businesses, networks, and service providers, support community initiatives, and believe strong, values‑led businesses have a responsibility to contribute positively to the communities they serve.
